Amy Jesse

I'm thrilled to be part of the Sundre High community. You'll find me teaching English 9, 20 and 30. I also support our Leadership students, students who need extra support (Student Services/Inclusive Education), and our Yearbook Club. 

I earned a Bachelor of Education at the U of A in 2009 and have called Chinook's Edge my work home ever since. For 7 years, I taught Humanities in an alternative program, and have had a variety of classroom experiences. I love having the opportunity to see students grow throughout their high school English experiences, and enjoy being a part of school communities. Every day is a new adventure we tackle together as a team to improve student outcomes- at school and in life. 

Outside of work, I love to read for pleasure (especially mysteries), travel, ride my bike, visit my family, volunteer, and hang out with my husband who also teaches in Chinook's Edge.
