Grade 12 - Year Timeline

 

September

Students ensure they are in the correct courses, on track for graduation and taking the prerequisite courses for post-secondary enrollment if applicable.  Appointments can be made with Mrs. Wilson in the Guidance Office.

Grad Rings - Jostens

 

Early October

First Prom Committee meeting where timelines are laid out and roles and responsibilities are chosen.  Next meeting date decided.

October

Students are applying for post-secondary programs (see Mrs. Wilson in guidance office)

Late January

Appointment taking for grad photos

February Break

Grad Photos - Lifetouch

 

March

Measurements taken for gowns

Grad Biographies - forms picked up and handed in to main office.

March / April / May                                             

Applying for post-secondary scholarships (see Mr. Coleman)

May

May Queen fundraising, a portion of which is dedicated to Prom.

 

Mid June

Grad Paint the Street

Cap & Gown Rehearsal in gym

End of June

Graduation Cap & Gown (morning), After Exam Week

Prom (evening)

 

Graduation Day Timeline

9:00 AM

Grads arrive at the school, go to library and get dressed in their caps and gowns.

   
   

9:45 AM

Cap and Gown Ceremony begins with a grand march of the students into the gymnasium.

11:30 AM

Ceremony concludes, students may wish to take pictures with family and friends.

12:00PM    

Gowns are to be kept by the Grad, but if they choose, they may return them.
