McKenzie McElhinney

I am proud to be both a former student and now a teacher at Sundre High School. Sundre has always been a great community filled with supportive people, and I feel fortunate to be able to give back in this role.

I completed my post-secondary studies at the University of Lethbridge, earning both a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Physical Education. I returned to SHS in 2024 as a teacher and currently serve as the school’s Athletic Director, while also coaching various sports teams.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time fishing, camping, skiing, curling, and being with my friends and family.
